Description 14NiCrMo13-4 Alloy Steel as also named in US standards is a case hardening steel used in forgings to eg rock drilling tools. It can be used to make gear parts exposed to the highest stresses and wear conditions. Typical components include gears, planet wheels, drive pinions, shafts, bushes, and sleeves. Results in high core strength and excellent toughness in the components and are very suitable for parts with a large diameter.
